OZ Boomerangs was born in Melbourne out of a simple belief — that the boomerang is one of the most extraordinary objects ever made, and not enough people know how to throw one properly.

We specialise in the manufacture and distribution of Australian-made boomerangs through our FlyingToyz range. Every performance boomerang we sell is handcrafted from 5mm 10-ply aviation birch plywood right here in Australia — shaped, finished, and tested by people who genuinely love the sport.

But we also know that every serious thrower started as a complete beginner. That's why we designed the Superang range — the world's safest returning boomerang — so that anyone, at any age, can pick one up and experience the magic of a boomerang that actually comes back. No experience needed. No wide open field required. Just a decent backyard and a bit of patience.

We're based in the Dandenong Ranges outside Melbourne, and we're proud members of the VBTA -Victorian Boomerang Throwing Association. We've been involved in the sport for decades — throwing at competitions, coaching beginners, and quietly evangelising to anyone who'll listen that boomerang throwing is one of the most fun, social, and skilful outdoor activities you can do.
